Message of President Muhammad Aamir

Dear all members, I feel proud after elected as President of this recognized Association and grateful to the members who shows their trust and confidence upon me and my entire Office Bearers and Members Managing Committee for the term (2024-2025). I assure all of you that nothing will be left in providing support and assistance to our members in resolving their day to day issues / problems being faced to them. We will protect the rights of Customs Agents on every Forum and will get maximum benefits which will deserve to us. I along with my entire team will be available in KCAA Head Office as well as in Camp Offices of Customs House and Airfreight Unit to serve this community.

The Karachi Customs Agents Association was established in the year 1965 and was formerly known as “Karachi Customs Agents Group” and thereafter it is registered with the name “Karachi Customs Agents Association”. Since its establishment this association always worked for the betterment of Customs Agents Community and supported its members in all manners as well as provided all possible assistance in resolution of the issues/ problems being faced to our valuable members. In such an environment, the task of customs agents is highly important in helping the government to achieve an appropriate balance between trade facilitation and regulatory control. They provide this service with high professional standards and ethical behavior vis-à-vis their customers and Customs.

This Association was given due recognition which it rightly deserves and its recommendations and proposals were solicited at high levels and a lot of them were implemented as well. In fact that was a right step in right direction as without any doubt we play an important role in collection of revenue for the Government and on the other hand are instrumental in safe handling and expeditious of export commodities, whereby precious foreign exchange for the government is earned. Customs Agents are playing vital role in generation of the revenue by virtue of Duties and Taxes to the exchequer.

I pray to Al-mighty Allah to save our Association and members from all kind of fears and risks and gave us courage and wisdom to facilitate our community and hard work for making betterment in the economy of our beloved country Pakistan.
